The new Santa Fe model's quartet has two powertrain options - a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder produces 191 horsepower. However, you can opt for a 277-horsepower version. Both the engines combine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard front-wheel-drive system. The all-wheel drive is optional.
The hybrid version with a six-speed automatic uses a turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinder with two electric motors, producing 266 horsepower, and it includes a standard all-wheel drive. The turbo four-cylinder Calligraphy trim accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds.

The new Santa Fe model can tow 3,500 pounds on its top 2.5-liter turbo powertrain. The powertrain is standard on the Calligraphy and Limited trims with all-wheel-drive configurations. Also, the 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.
Exterior Design
